Robertson County, TX (2/10/2020) – The accident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on Highway 6. Nicholas King, 19, was driving his Jeep and failed to slow down for a semi-truck that was attempting to make a turn. King swerved to avoid colliding into the semi-truck and struck a Toyota pickup in the northbound lanes.
The driver of the Toyota pickup was identified as 50-year-old Malcolm Carlson. He was killed at the scene.
King was also killed at the scene.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
