Hamby, TX (10/21/2020) – Two people were injured in a three-vehicle wreck that occurred in Hamby on Wednesday.
The accident happened around 8 a.m. on Highway 351. A vehicle was rear-ended while turning off the highway, causing it to crash into a truck.
Two people are now hospitalized. Their conditions remain unknown.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
According to NTSB, almost half of all two-vehicle crashes were rear-end crashes between 2012 and 2014. In addition, these crashes killed more than 1,700 people each year. Being hit from behind is why the two people mentioned in the story above were hospitalized.
