Passenger Injured after Street Racing Accident in Houston

Houston, TX (4/26/2021) – A passenger was injured after a vehicle lost control and crashed outside a funeral home while racing in Houston.

The incident happened shortly after midnight on W. Montgomery when a blue Ford Fusion northbound chasing another vehicle lost control and struck a curb. It landed in a parking lot outside of a funeral home.

The driver was ejected and killed at the scene.

A female passenger was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

The other vehicle fled.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
