Two People Killed after Crash in Gaines County

Gaines County, TX (8/18/2021) – Two people were killed after a fatal crash in Gaines County on Wednesday. 

The accident happened at 7:37 a.m. on U.S. Route 62 when a Chevrolet Silverado and a Jeep Wrangler collided. 

Both drivers were killed at the scene. They were identified as 51-year-old Wilma Delk and 62-year-old Samuel Pennington. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
