Tyler, TX (11/14/2020) – Two people were killed in a wreck that occurred Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Loop 323 and New Copeland Road. A minivan was headed east on the Loop and attempting a turn onto New Copeland Road on a blinking yellow light. That’s when a motorcycle occupied by two people came along with a green light. The minivan turned in front of the motorcycle, failing to yield the right-of-way. The two collided.
The two people who were killed were identified as Edythe Lewis, a 48, and Christopher Little, 52.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
