Fort Ann, NY (4/30/2020) – Two drivers were left injured after a two-vehicle wreck Tuesday.
The accident happened around noon on State Route 4 near George Road. Anthony Bills, 48, was driving his Dodge pickup south on State Route 4 when his brakes stopped working. That’s when he swerved to the left to avoid rear-ending other vehicles and ended up entering the path of a tractor-trailer driven by 45-year-old Toby Terrell, of Navasota, Texas. The tractor-trailer was unable to stop and struck the pickup on the passenger side.
Both drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
