Boyd, TX (1/3/2021) – Two teenagers were fatally killed in a rollover wreck that occurred south of Boyd.
The accident happened on County Road 4757 Sunday morning around 2:30 a.m. A Dodge Ram pickup was headed north on CR 4757 when the 17-year-old driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer and lost control of the vehicle. The truck struck several trees before rolling to a stop.
Two passengers, a 17-year-old teenage girl and a 13-year-old boy, were killed at the scene.
The driver was not injured.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
