Henderson County, TX (8/8/2020) – Two teens were killed after a two-vehicle crash in Henderson County on Saturday.
The accident happened on Highway 31 when a Honda Accord occupied by two teens, ages 18 and 19, drove off the side of the road. The driver overcorrected to the left, which caused the vehicle to cross into the eastbound lanes of traffic, and a Nissan Rogue struck the side of the Honda.
The two teens were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Nissan, Rachael Patterson, 30, of Eustace, was taken to a Tyler hospital with unknown injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
