Swisher County, TX (10/26/2020) – A man was killed in a crash Monday afternoon in Swisher County.
The accident occurred on FM 928. Tommy Day, 68, was headed west while Eric Ramirez, 30, was headed east. Ramirez lost control on the icy roads, crossed the center stripe, and struck Day head-on.
Day was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ramirez was left with injuries and was taken to Plainview Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
