Gaines County, TX (3/30/2020) – A woman is now dead after crashing into a cow on Monday, March 23.
The accident happened in Gaines County on U.S. Highway 180 around 8:52 p.m. Police found a Mazda 3 left on the roadway. It was revealed that the crash occurred when a cow attempted to cross the road when Surrento was driving.
The driver, identified as 22-year-old Brianna Surrento, was killed at the scene.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
