Katy, TX (8/13/2020) – A woman was injured after a collision with a pickup truck in Katy Tuesday evening.
The accident happened on Mason at Katy Briar when a driver ran a red light, causing a Mustang, driven by a woman, and a pickup truck to collide.
Firefighters had to cut the roof off the Mustang in order to free the woman. She was taken to the hospital via Life Flight. She is expected to survive.
It’s not known if the driver in the pickup was hurt.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
