Katy, TX (8/25/2020) – A woman is now injured after being hit two times on the Katy Freeway Monday morning.
The accident happened around 2 a.m. between Barker Cypress Road and Park Ten Boulevard. A vehicle was sideswiped by another and the first vehicle stopped in a moving lane of traffic. That’s when another vehicle came along and rammed into the back of the first vehicle. The second vehicle sped off.
The driver in the first vehicle was airlifted to Memorial Hermann hospital.
The third driver refused treatment and appeared to be fine.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
