Tyler, TX (9/24/2021) – A woman was killed after a fatal crash early Friday morning in Tyler.
The accident happened around 3 a.m. at the intersection of Plantation Drive and Spring Branch Drive when a Dodge Charger struck a parked vehicle.
A passenger in the Dodge Charger, 20-year-old Tamyra Campbell, was killed in the wreck.
The driver of the Dodge, 27-year-old Christopher Hardy Jr., was taken to UT Health with minor injuries. He was also charged with Intoxication Manslaughter and booked into the Smith County Jail.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
