Houston, TX (7/29/2020) – A woman is now dead after a wreck occurred at a Houston intersection Monday afternoon.
The accident happened around 5:25 p.m. on 43rd Street at the Cheshire Lane intersection. A man who was intoxicated was speeding in the 1500 block of West 43rd when he crashed his Jeep Wrangler into the woman’s Honda Civic. Police say she was attempting to cross 43rd at Cheshire Lane at the time.
The 46-year-old woman was killed in the crash.
Esvin Crispin Aguilar, 28, is charged with intoxication manslaughter. Aguilar was tested at the scene and authorities determined he was intoxicated. He was then arrested.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
