Houston, TX (12/23/2019) – A woman is now dead after being involved in a hit-and-run accident in Harris County on Sunday.
The accident occurred in the area of a feeder road at Little York when a Mercedes going at high speeds collided into the woman’s vehicle and pushed her vehicle several feet. The Mercedes came to a resting stop in a ditch and caught fire. That’s when the driver of the Mercedes escaped and ran off in another vehicle.
The woman died from her injuries sustained in the accident.
Patrol units blocked lanes of the Eastex Freeway intersection at Little York.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
