Woman Killed after T-Bone Wreck in El Paso

El Paso, TX (9/19/2021) – A woman was killed in a crash involving five vehicles Sunday morning.

The accident happened around 2 a.m. on I-10 West near the Fountains at Farah. A Ford Focus was headed west on the interstate when it lost control and hit a cement barrier. A Chevy Silverado stopped after arriving at the initial crash, and a Honda Civic rear-ended the Silverado. The impact caused a rollover crash which then caused a chain reaction of crashes.

A man, 21, driving a Silverado T-boned another vehicle driven by 27-year-old Kandy Abigail Duarte-Cassiano.

She was killed at the scene.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
