San Antonio, TX (2/17/2020) – A woman is dead after a drunk driver ran a red light early Monday morning.
The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Culebra Road and Micron Drive. According to police, a pickup truck driven by 28-year-old Erick Eduardo Casa ran a red light and collided into an SUV driven by a 19-year-old woman.
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she later died. She was identified as Jasmine Claire Goudeau.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken into custody. He was reportedly intoxicated at the time. He has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
