Woman Killed in Head-On Wreck in East Harris County

Baytown, TX (3/27/2021) – A woman was killed in a head-on crash on Tuesday near east Harris County.

The accident occurred around 9:45 p.m. on West Cedar Bayou Lynchburg at San Jacinto Boulevard and Bush Road. A Chevrolet Tahoe was stopped at a red light waiting to turn when a Nissan headed in the opposite direction slammed into the Tahoe head-on. The Tahoe then went into a ditch.

The Tahoe’s driver was taken to the hospital where she remains stable.

The driver of the Nissan died at the scene.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led to the accident, and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
