Woman Trapped in Car in Houston Neighborhood

Houston, TX (3/24/2020) – A woman was trapped in her car after a deadly crash in Houston’s Westbury neighborhood.

According to deputies, around 6:40 p.m., the woman was driving on Willowbend near Rampart when another driver drove into the intersection thinking it was clear and crashed into the woman. The crash made the woman’s car turn on its side, trapping her. Firefighters used rescue tools to pull her out of the vehicle.

The woman is expected to be okay.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
