Worker Falls to His Death at Six Flags Waterpark in Spring

Francisco RodriguezSPRING, TX (April 15, 2019) – A waterpark employee died from falling off a slide at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown in Spring.

The incident happened on Friday, April 12th at around 3:20 p.m.

Francisco Rodriguez was working on a structure when he fell to the ground. Cypress Creek EMS and Spring Fire Department were called to the scene of the accident.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office investigation, the fall appears to be an accident.

Six Flags states he was an employee of metal fabrication company Trevino Industries. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time,” said by a Six Flags spokesperson in a statement.

The waterpark is undergoing renovations with plans to open on May 4th.
