Wrong-Way Crash on 610 South Loop Left Injuries

Houston, TX (3/19/2021) – A major crash in Harris County left at least one injured Friday night.

The accident happened on the 610 South Loop at Highway 288 around 6 a.m. when a cargo van was headed the wrong way on the eastbound lanes of the highway. Four vehicles were involved in the collision.

Firefighters worked to pull victims from the wreckage. 

At least one person was taken to the hospital via ambulance.

No word remains on the extent of the injuries. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
