Plano, Texas (March 14, 2023) – A 29-year-old woman was killed on U.S. Highway 75 on Monday night after being struck multiple times. 
Police are reporting that Leah Daniels, 29, of McKinney, was involved in a semi-truck accident. Daniels’ vehicle had stalled in one of the highway lanes with her hazard lights on. A vehicle behind her could not stop in time and struck Daniels.
After being struck, she exited her vehicle via the passenger side and was hit by a semi-truck. The secondary collision pushed Daniels into the roadway, causing her to be struck by a third vehicle.
The semi-truck did not stop after striking her. Police are working to identify the driver of the vehicle at this time. They have described the vehicle as an older body “bob-tail” Peterbilt 389.
