Lubbock, TX (7/17/2020) – Five people were injured after being involved in a two-vehicle wreck Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened near County Road 3100 and U.S. Highway 62/82 around 1 p.m. According to DPS, a pickup truck headed north on CR 3100 failed to yield to a Ford passenger car headed west on U.S. 62/82 and the vehicles collided.
The driver of the pickup truck, 31-year-old Michael Shuping, and the driver of the Ford, Delia De Los Santos, two other adults, and a minor were all taken to University Medical Center for their injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
