Driver Pinned by Own Truck in Southeast HoustonThe incident happened Wednesday at 11:45 p.m. in the Golfcrest area. A wrecker driver pulled into a shopping center to change a flat tire on another car. The driver thought his truck was in neutral, but as he moved towards the front of the vehicle, it jerked forward and trapped him against the walls and doors of a store.

Someone passing by was able to hear his call for help and reverse the truck to free the driver. The victim suffered from a broken leg, broken arm and other injuries. He was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
