Denton, TX (11/11/2019) – A collision between two 18-wheelers and three passenger vehicles resulted in casualties on Friday.

The fatal accident happened on I-35 near The University of North Texas when the collision between the vehicles resulted in an explosion from one of the semis that carried tanks of propane.

According to authorities, three people were killed at the scene.

Three others were transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.

Car Accident Investigation

Because the accident resulted in not only three deaths, but with also three others injured and an explosion, an investigation into the accident will be essential.

This investigation will include a scene inspection, vehicle inspection, and interviews of those involved in the accident. In addition, Accident Reconstructionists may be called to the case to help recreate how exactly the accident may have occurred.

Depending on the investigation, rights to a wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits may be granted.
