Prescription Drugs spill
CUT AND SHOOT (November 2, 2018)– Friday morning in Cut and Shoot, Texas, 40 miles outside of Houston, two large trucks crashed on Highway 105.

An 18-wheeler slammed into a bobtail truck carrying pharmaceutical supplies. The rear-end collision caused the bobtail truck to lose control. The back of the truck tore off causing dozens of drug bottles and syringes to spill on the highway.

Both of the commercial vehicles were significantly damaged. The impact from the crash caused the removal of the engine and transmission from the 18-wheeler.

The driver of the bobtail truck suffered a leg injury and was transported to a local hospital. There are no reports on the driver of the 18-wheeler.

The highway was shut down for hours during the cleanup process.

The crash remains under investigation.
