Nacogdoches, TX (5/1/2021) – A crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle left one person dead on Saturday.
The accident happened around 1:25 a.m. on S 7 in the westbound lanes. A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and the vehicle fled the scene.
The pedestrian was found dead at the scene. He was identified as 60-year-old Charles Chandler.
The vehicle possibly involved in this crash is believed to be an older model Cadillac or Buick passenger car.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
